First of All, Our PFE, Everlastick, falls within this logic. In our case, it is to create an application standalone and cross-platform that will be accessible and cyphered on a USB key, this application will integrate some modules, a text editor, an agenda, a web-browser... The advantage is that all data saved on the USB key by our application would be encrypted, and the application access would be secured. in the case of any loss or theft of the USB key, sensitive data would be protected.
Our main goal, is to answer to the growing needs of mobility without increasing the risk of data's disclosure or threats. Under this PFE our team involved six students of epitech who collaborate with partners like EGE(Economic warfare school) wich providing us valuable advices and follow us as security advisors on Everlastick and permits us to achieve our goals by reaching all objectives.
After reporting an analysis of the current context in the domain of mobile business software appliance, we do had realized that solution does exist on the one hand to cypher datas, and on the other hand, others solutions grants us access to some business applications on a USB key but none of them does combine both of these actual needs.
To put it in a nutshell Everlastick is targeting mainly people with a high-mobility profile and working in sensible area with a high-security threshold policies. Nomadic people should also be interested in everlastick insofar as everlastick is fitting perfectly the needs of our targeted users.
We are in partnership with the EGE (Ecole de Guerre Economique) who will give us valuable advice on the needs of our future users, It will also give us a panel of user.
